A new way to inhabit a familiar home.

An existing terrace house reworked around shared spaces, a generous internal void and an elevated family retreat.

The remodelling opens the plan to encourage connections between different levels. Platforms and openings overlook the main living area, allowing rooms to feel related even when they are separated vertically.

A new steel-clad mezzanine contrasts with the existing house. It accommodates spaces for exercise and family time, with an outlook towards the city. The design keeps the new interventions legible while respecting the form of the original building.

The project brings a different spatial experience to a familiar terrace-house setting. Its story is carried by the contrast between enclosed rooms, shared volumes and the quieter spaces above.
