Contemporary Lifestyle home designed for a newly-wed couple. The house opens out towards the parent's house next door with a shared garden in between. Blurring the threshold between the 2 lots and also the boundary between the inside and outside.

 

The architecture is expressed in strong rectilinear lines, wrapped with thin metal coping to further define the building edges. Openable solid timber screens and stone walls are strategically placed to provide a layer of privacy without compromising on views and natural daylight.
