Complete remodelling of a double storey terrace house situated in the mature neighbourhood of Desa Pahlawan. The project is commissioned by a young expatriate family with the emphasis on family bonding and communal spaces. The open plan layout and the cut-out void has several attached platforms and openings to encourage interactions between its occupant.

The intent is also to respect the form and tectonics of the existing house while the newly inserted mezzanine level is cladded in steel in order to contrast the new from the current. The mezzanine houses a gym and a small family area with an unobstructed view of the KLCC skyline.

The interior design of the house is kept minimal and clean so that the overall design language is kept consistent with its architecture without being too distracting.
